I don´t know if someone allready mentioned this, if so...kick me Anyway, I couldn´t watch this docu last year because it was on a channel not available in my country , but this time it´s on the great British BBC!!! 4 those across the channel in Europe, it starts at 00.30 !!!

It was shown on BBC2 last year, around November time!! Its nothing outstanding, no real new revelations or anything on Prince or his career, in fact, it shows some really clueless statements about Prince from some really clueless celebrities!!! | |

I enjoyed it, but did anyone else notice they completely missed out the parade era? considering Parade did really well in Europe you'd think it would have a mentioning the feeling U get when U fall in love not with a girl or a boy but with the heavens above | |

It's a very average documentary.
It relies heavily on footage culled from the original BBC Omnibus docu that was first aired in the 90's.
My advice would be to track that down instead, it circulates in pristine quality. This "new" version adds very little. Squeezing a 30+ year career into 60 minutes was always going to be shit.

Indeed, the Omnibus docu is great and they should update it. I always liked the input from themusic journalist, have also seen him in an other music docu.
I remember they broadcasted it on Channel 4 followed by Purple rain!!
