Wonder why Chuck never used the footage after all the stardom Prince had in 30 years?...He could have made a fortune. Obviously Prince had 4got about it until 5 years ago. Its rare footage from that time period. wonder what Prince is going 2 do with it....

Well why didn't he have the footage? It seems odd as private as he is that he let the man keep it 4 all these decades. guess he wanted 2 come up with the right amount 4 Chuck 2 give them up . Which I'm sure was in the million range.

Also 2 that other person who tried 2 address me. never said Prince was going 2 release it. said what is he going 2 do with it. already know why he keeps a vault of his "MasterPieces" locked away. Also know he obeys his religious believes.

Prince doesn't get high he only tried X. Its one of the reasons he still looks decades younger...

i remember seeing a couple of black and white pics and assumed that was all left from the film...but its good to know it still exist. I would love to see it oneday, also purple rain unedited and any other unreleased prince films

There was no other issue—I just wanted to get my due. After we settled up, I turned over the Met Center footage to him. Including all the camera originals and work prints.

That doesn't make any sense. Prince has had this footage alot longer than 5 years ago. He showed it to us at Paisley Park during the 2000 Celebration.

Just like everything else he films and locks in the vault, this will never see the light of day.

The video for Cool is great, especially for the 80's. Just by that alone, I think it was was probably some great footage. Really wish he would have held the footage hostage and accidentally "lose" it. It's a shame. It's probably just ashes in his fireplace by now. At least we finally get to see stills of the project, if nothing more.
