Not bad for a "b-side." I like it.

I know I've heard it and I know it's in the collection but it has never made an impression. I can only say nay because if it was a yay I'd have played it much more. RIP

I like the fact that he did a Bside for the first time in a long time, but Nay on the quality of the song

Yeah, doing non-album tracks again was awesome. Was this the first, or was it magnificent? RIP

I think I've heard it maybe twice...never had an impact enough to make me wanna give it another spin...plus, its all hidden away on some npgmc compilation...hardly ever see it to prompt another spin...

Of the "Virtual b-sides," Magnificent came first in April 2004, Silver Tongue and United States Of Division were released in July. Interestingly, USOD was eventually released in physical form on the European cd single version of Cinnamon Girl.

Ok, I am listening right now..
a piano slow jam, reminds me of SHOE.
Still, it does not move me, sorry. Prince 4Ever.

I feel like it has all of the elements of a Prince song that I like. But it's just not memorable to me. It's missing something. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide."

"Silver Tongue (Demo) was released on 13 July, 2004, as a "virtual b-side" to Call My Name. No other version has been released. The song's lyrics were written by Nikka Costa, and it was discussed that her own (final) version would be included on her next album. It is unknown whether Nikka Costa recorded her own studio version, or whether it was ever placed on a configuration of her 2005 album can'tneverdidnothin'. Initial recording dates are unknown, but it is likely that the track was recorded in early 2004 at Paisley Park Studios, Chanhassen, MN, USA.

A big fat yea, one if his best ballads ever. Melody and chords (not to mention performance) were devastating. Magnificent, on the other hand, is a poor man's if eye was the man in ur life, which in itself is a poor man's excuse for a song Take it - like Clarence said:
"I got a million of them - all different U know."
