I think Aussies are Prince's best fans HEY YO!

We are the best Prince Fans by a long shot.
When P plays other countries even America there is never this amount of hype and excitement.
I think Prince should tour here every year

In fairness it looks and sounds like aeveryone's going bananas for it over there and on here naturally, but let's face it, it's the third time he's been there throughout his career, whereas for the likes of the US and Europe, we've had our fair share of him throughout the years, so not to necessarily saying the novelty's worn off but it's just not as much of a big deal in comparrison to the Australia. | |

I agree. I've been a Prince fan for 30 yr. I've seen him each time he visited Australia. Three tours in 30 yr is torturous for a fan like me. It makes you really appreciate the opportunity to see him live. | |

i thnk the audiences are incredibly grateful for the oppurtunity to see him here, i know i am.
the buzz in the arena reaches bieber screams level when he appears, its deafening.
im sure he gets applause overseas but not manic one-direction screaming and crying lol

I would say all his fans are his best fans.
If you haven't noticed lately, our musical heroes are dropping like flies. So let's get over the unnecessary divisiveness amongst Prince fans. Just appreciate and enjoy the man while we all still can and leave it at that. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. | |

I was going to argue and say that New Yorkers are the best fans, but I will agree with you. You Aussies managed to sell out every concert do far in the tour. Dedicated people. | |

on a site note: as i'm a fan of Prince & always will be - the amount of times he comes to Australia will never stop me from getting excited about it nor will I ever stop buying good tickets to his shows.

I had the best weekend of my life, the atmosphere at the shows and the love coming from the Aussie crowd was like nothing else I've ever attended. Looking around people were beaming huge grins and basically just losing their shit with excitement over the songs he was playing.:-D Having the stage there in the middle made it feel like a giant party too and everyone was on their feet dancing the whole way through and screaming practically every word to every song.. It was really something to behold I must say. Ive never had more fun at a concert ( and I've seen loads ). Also audience aside the performance from P and his band was incredible. So much energy and dude was dancin' like a mofo n bustin some serious moves!! This really surprised me as I thought with age he wouldnt move around as much, and don't recall him dancing much in 03 when I saw him. I had no doubt prince would be good but he definitely exceeded my expectations and then some!! He basically proved why he has always been my favorite musician! |

When you tour a country once every ten years and release an album every year you have people who may have liked a few songs off your last ten albums.
In other words, Prince has had ten years of advertising for this tour, as such us australians are losing our minds over here. | |
