It's obvious "Let's Go Crazy" will be the opener, although it would be nice to hear him change it up. "Baby, I'm A Star" would be a good opener too! If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in! | |

Musically, "Thunder" would be an energetic, opener, but I think most people wouldn't recognize it, and I think the lyric content might turn people off too soon. Only hardcore fans would appreciate it, I think. If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in! | |

yeah i know. It will be the same show we have seen for the last 10 years. Lets go crazy, purple rain, little red corvette, kiss, musicology, prince and the band, controversy, shhh, 1999, delerious, u got the look, 7, cream, jungle love, cool, take me with you, raspberry beret and LOTS of horrid covers. His show has gotten so boring and just plain lazy. Hopefully one day he will do another tour for the fans and not for the $$. Then again I guess the days of The Rainbow Children, Gold and EVERY tour before then are gone. No Longer are the Days of Wild!! | |

it's not my personal wishlist in so much that I would like to see way more obscure songs, but if he was to focus on other singles and minor hits, i'd love love love something like this instead of a cover heavy, same ol' hits setlist:

Can't really agree he's lazy; more like he's accommodating lazy fans who know about four of his albums and are coming to hear what they know. Let's Go Crazy sure creates a lot of energy to open with, so I can see why he often uses it. I don't know about anyone else, but I found creating a setlist is a lot harder than I first thought--I started with 50+ songs and had to whittle them down, and that's hard to do keeping some kind of flow. He's still going to be stuck with a 3+ hour concert with my setlist, and, sorry, I didn't use just alternate songs.
