Prince live in Nice [07.25.2010] Soundboard

ABSOLUTELY NO SOLICITING FOR BOOTLEGS.You want to discuss them? That's fine - but NO OFFERS TO COPY, NO REQUESTS TO COPY, NO "WHERE CAN I GET", etc. NO POSTING OF LINKS TO THESE SITES EITHER. Please be aware that the moderators here strictly enforce this rule.

Anyone heard this yet?

Pretty cool version of Shhh. You can hear stuff that you wouldn't hear in an audience recording, like his amp making loud buzzing sounds and other technical stuff like that. Also this rendition has him extending the solo in the middle. LOVE when he does that.

These were the days of Cora and Josh, though so a lot of it feels pretty stale.

Just listened to a few tracks, it sounds good. Boring as fuck tour though, but a soundboards a soundboard. Pity it's incomplete. Nice to have though, and free.

True. This show actually had some more interesting performances in the second half if I recall. A shame that section of the show isn't available in soundboard.

Yup, but doesn't he do that like every time he plays this song? I really like the Le Grand Journal version of Shhh.

I don't remember it happening until this show. The Le Grand one takes it way over the top. I mean he never even performs the last verse, he's too busy shredding haha.

Nice was a straightforward but nice show.
The final songs do it for me. The guitar driven stuff.

I'd order a copy on CD as a backup.
(because how many EMP-resistant backups do you have?)

EMP is so easy. No dead bodies necessarily but a large area, maybe a country down the drain anyways. (unless you can survive without anything that resembles like electronics)

Oh, and BTW: I was there. In Nice, that's also a reason I want this on CD.

In current times, some people might say that a title is enough of a pointer to locate said materials online; i.e.: that implies also mentioning the title is verboten.

Unless your electronics are also EMP resistant, and they're not, it won't matter if the CDs are EMP resistant or not...

Players are abundant and a proven technology.

Discs are more rare.

Also they're shiny.

Thanks for the heads up - d/loaded and listened - nice to hear s/board but:

Gohi: 'Stale' is a good descriptor

Nothing here endears me to want to listen a second time. Seriously.

Prince's vocals are weak imho. Lame.

If nothing else it shows me that the present NPG incarnation is better than this one.

If an EMP were deployed, how would you play your CD?

And readily available after any EMP burst right?

Sure. Assuming the EMP is not worldwide...
