After Australia? What do U think will be after Australia? Is he coming back to Montreal jazz festival?

Nope. He is coming back to the states, beggining with New Orleans w/after show. Not really sure after that.  Prince did an interview with a woman at Record World. They talked about whatever, then he asked her: "Does your pubic hair go up to your navel?" At that moment, we thought maybe we shouldn't encourage him to do interviews. | |

Not that I begrudge him a bit of time off, but 8 concerts spread over 3 weeks can hardly be called a hectic tour - at least not by Prince standards, even if it's a long way to travel.
The summer festival season will be kicking off soon, and he did say "We'll be back real soon" at the Malahide concert last year, so I wouldn't be surprised (and would be greatly delighted) if he did another round of Welcome 2 Europe concerts. Won't be too surprised if he doesn't either, but fingers crossed. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP. |

Anything's possible at the moment -
Would be great if the Paris gig happens, as it would be of epic porportion, but got a horrible feeling that it just won't...or will be flooded with an array of problems from sound to general organisation...fuck it i'm still if it happens
Would ideally like a full flegged UK tour (i.e Manchester, Birmingham, Edingurgh, London, *COUGH* WALES!)
Think he should cover middle America, seeing as he's missed out some guaranteed sell outs like Detroit, Chicago etc
and W2ASIA would be interesting

After Australia, I hope
(a) Shelby goes solo and doesn't follow Prince and open or perform in any way at future shows. (b) Future concerts include music from a hot, new album. (c) There is a heavy dose of b-side and bootleg material and he saves other peoples' music for after-shows, in the fashion of his unbelievable version of "Just My Imagination".
If there's 2 out of 3, I'll pay money to see Prince this year. If not, I'll just enjoy other bands and music at one of the many fantastic music festivals across Europe. The hits have played out for me, especially with Shelby taking up too much stage and mic time. If Prince were Earth Wind & Fire, it'd be different; we wouldn't expect a new album and we would expect them to simply dazzle us with the old classics. But this is Prince. Hopefully he can put out some hot, new music and properly promote it. I'm just not paying for a train or plane ticket to travel and hear, at a Prince concert, music from Michael Jackson or any other performers. It's a fuckin' Prince show. The only unexpected I expect is for him to play some of the more obscure tracks from his own catalog. At the after-show/after-party, do what you want, and bring friends if you want. But I hope that, in the future, Prince plays only Prince at Prince concerts. | |
