I read on FB that there were some problems with the audience. Prince threw his guitar into the crowd and his staff had problems while trying to get it back because of some drunk fools in the audience. I couldn´t find any info in the concerts forum and I read the whole thread.

So, does anyone who was there last night know what happened? Was it the Hohner or the Fender Strat?

Simple solution: Quit throwing your fucking guitar into the audience, Prince! This isn't the first time he's had a problem.

Paris 1998 he threw his NPS style gold chain in the audience.

He could not get it back.

I get where your coming from, but, I guess Prince throwing the guitar away into a crowd may indicate that he didn't want the guitar to some people. Even Prince has purposefully given things to the crowd before:hats, blankets etc.

He threw a glove at the audience getting up to perform with MJ and JB, Those fucking audiences. They never do the right thing when you throw crap at them.

dang. next time he should toss the piano out there!!! that'd be too heavy to carry away so he know he'll get it back

Naw, that's the guy in Oakland who caught Prince's guitar after scuffling for it and then didn't want to give it back to Prince's security. He got the pick as a consolation prize.

Yeah saw that.

He gave his guitar to a guy on stage tonight as they had a bunch of people up there dancing. When the guitar tech came to get it off him the guy followed the tech instead of leaving the stage like everybody else had I can imagine what was said "Hey mate that's my guitar, Prince just gave that to me" Guitar tech points to stairs across the stage "Get off!"

every fan knows that it's not finders keepers.. i catched that guitar twice now.. once he threw it and the other time he gave it to me while i was on stage and i and everyone next to me knew that the guitar tech would come to take it back..

That was kinda funny though, because it was during "Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough". I'm sure he had a little smirk as he picked it up and frisbee'd it back into the crowd.
