Prince could have these shows posted himself and sell them for say: $7.77 a show and both he and the host would make money. And that would at least help prevent bootleggers from making money off this stuff.

(like that ebay guy selling counterfit NMGMC CDs for $50 a pop)

WE KNOW THIS SHIT ALREADY!!!

I believe these are counterfit boots (boots that are downloaded and then repackaged and advertised by a group that had nothing to do with the production)! These were already released for free last year. All the footage was painstingly edited and collected by fans for fans... and it was laready packeged and advertised on here! it's really an amazing effort by the original creators, that they pieced together fan shot footage into complete multishot documents of these shows. I'm in awe of the effort of those original authors.

Eye Records charging people for the same thing other people already released for free? Well I never. This is a revelation.

The DVD is from a different source to that of the free releases.

I have no idea where the audio from the Montreal release comes from and nor do I care a jot. It's obviously audience because if they were soundboard then EYE would be screaming about it from the rooftops of ripoff HQ.

Even Sade has a tour dvd coming out but I guess it's too much to ask of Princey...

I am one of those newbies. It's so hard to get his music. I am still collecting from ebay. I was unaware of bootleg merchandise. If Prince had his own regulated site that would be cool. I would just buy from there.

That's why I joined this site, to be more educated about his material. There is a wealth of knowledge on here. I just need to figure who is giving it straight and who is full of crap.....

All you need to know is, don't buy pressed bootlegs from companies like Eye Records because more often than not they are simply repackaging other people's hard work that has already been released for free.

Even Prince himself has spoken out about his distaste for people making money from bootlegs, but has said he doesn't mind as much if it's simply fans sharing things with each other and no money is being made from it.

Yes , the 2nd show is indeed a different source than the fan release which , btw is superior to eye's

not sure about the 3rd show on the other dvd since to my knowledge there's no samples on the net

so that could very well be a rip off of the fan release
