Gotta agree, 2 R in Love doesn't fit on this album. Why he chose to put it there I have no idea. I removed it from my playlist of the album as it is so out of place. Keep it to Lovesexy. Although I don't often listen to The Black Album despite it being so good, one thing about Prince he sure gives plenty of variety. Whether people like it or not is a different matter.
Off topic slightly... when you rate a song what do you compare it to? Is 10 perfection and 1 barely music? 10 could therefore be Superstition and 1 Friday (Rebecca Black, although there are worse)? I ask as I often see people rating songs from albums here. Could it be people rate them comparative to the album alone? iTunes pisses me off as it only ranks from 0 to 5 (stars). Do I place lots of songs at 5 or just those few masterpieces that have appeared over the years? Then I have the problem with there being hundreds at 4.

I dont really put the song ratings as a science, its a variety of factors, melody, quality, lyrics, aural pleasure and quality of songwriting musician ship. I only mark hard my students essays and tests. Prince music is more fun. The Ranking on my list is actually in order top to bottom, so When 2 R in Love is the best song and 2Nigs the least best (Its still a 6, a solid C+, which to me is not a worst or a bad song). Besides my ratings are arbitratry and just an opinion, I apologisde if I don't answer the question perfectly, but reallly who cares, I did what was asked and I am not about to justify my reasons for rating as well as ranking the songs.
