P could take some lessons from Pearl Jam I snipped this from their site. Wouldn't it b nice if P did this 4 ONA?
Pearl Jam will be playing 15 shows in Australia and Japan between February 08 2003 and March 06 2003. The band will be recording and releasing each individual show in its entirety as a Bootleg The Pearl Jam 2003 Australia/Japan Bootlegs are • Limited Edition • Low Cost • Currently Only Available Here Order now at pearljambootlegs.com: • You will receive a link to download unmastered MP3 files of the show the day after the performance • The fully mastered physical double CD will be shipped to arrive at your home 7-10 business days after the performance and we'll try our darned hardest to get it there by then. Clear Channel goes one better
The Denver Post reported earlier this month that Clear Channel has plans to offer CDs within 5 minutes of the end of shows they promote. From the article: Multiple CD burners will be brought into venues, and the instant live CDs will probably sell for $15 in the same way t-shirts and other merchandise can be purchased after concerts. "We're in the final stages of our developmental phase, and we'll have a statement very shortly," Clear Channel Vice President Steve Simon said. I wish he would cover some of their songs!!! or play with them kinda like Lenny on Rave un2 the year 2000 I'd love to hear P do a complete cover album of Ten  (release how ever.. who cares but remake Release,Black,Oceans ,ect)  | |
