Hello people,

On this special episode of the BrandoSoul podcast, we are paying homage to the 25th anniversary of the release of Prince’s 1987 masterwork, Sign o’ the Times. Get some popcorn or some other refreshments and enjoy this show. Here I’m joined by special co-host, Jesse aka EyeJester7! Enjoy, comment, and follow this blog! More exciting stuff to come soon…

Cool. I am always interested on hearing retrospectively everyone's takes on this album now that its had a time to sit in everyone's consciousness for all these years.

You said we were family. touched I enjoyed the review and think you both did a fine job. Re: SOTT. When the album was released I played it for my then boyfriend and his family who, by this time, knew I was nuts about Prince. They weren't getting into it at all. BUT when that VHS of the movie hit the VCR, they were hooked, and these were country music fans! Watching Prince perform is almost hypnotic, imo, and to this very day, I can't exactly put my finger on what intrigues me the most about the man and his music. He's different, his music is different, and SOTT will be considered by most of us, as one of the crowning achievements in his kaleidoscopic career. peace and heart

I'm only about half way through this and am loving it...

I would suggest you improve the sound, the ringing noise hurts sometimes.

The discussion though is great, thanks to you both for your work!
