Oh my God, they just showed Prince singing Little Red Corvette for a commercial!! I just saw it tonight watching the Grammy's...they showed a live performance of LRC for the Chevy car!! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

Bruce Springsteen's album isn't very good IMO, and I'll be damned if a rapper (especially Eminem) should win for album of the year.
Great grammy show- probably the best in over a decade. So many props for the originators (Simon and Garfunkel, James Taylor, Elvis Costello), and the newest artists are finally talented singer/songwriters again in their own right. | |

I was pretty excited to see it too! But I'm assuming that WB still owns the rights to that video, so they didn't need Prince's permision to show the commercial. Who knows. But it was cool seeing Prince on prime time. | |

Dang this is so old. I know I'm wrong about the details, but I'll take a shot:
1. The comercial has been out for months now. Yes there's also a billboard. 2. This was footage from the SOTT movie. 3. WB had nothing to do with that flick (Universal?). 4. And Prince probably ok'd it since he asked fans if he should let Chevy use the song for the 50th anniversary of the Corvette. | |

I guess we are so STARVED for some Prince news,that even THIS gets some of us all excited I would very much have loved to see Prince winning album of the year for The Rainbow Children than any of the nominees in the Grammy's last night; Eminem's album was my favorite to win though... Glad someone mentioned this~
I had my VCR running! It was the first time I have seen it, other times I was in the next room over hearing it. There were many cool commercials on Grammy Night... I LOL at the Celular Commercial with Little Richard!! Especially when he goes off about someone taking a picture of him. I'm sure Prince was like ~ Hell No, He Did'nt!!!
