The bass solo in the extended version of La, La, La, He, He, Heee (Highly Explosive) is pretty badass. I assume it's Prince anyway, since he's saying something like, "Wendy, you just gonna... you just gonna play that bass line over and over...? Gimme that thing!" Prince plays some mad bass "And then ya gotta..." Prince plays some more mad bass

Days Of Wild live at Glam Slam. The one where he says

'what the fuck is that' when Sonny does his thing.

Later on Prince plays the one-eyed-bass and really
tears the motherfckr down. It's so loud I just can't

My favorite bass work of his is on 'A Love Bizarre', but La La La, He He He's extended version is also a good answer.

The bass on Alphabet St. is pretty wild!
