Graffiti Bridge Movie Outtakes Ok, I know Graffiti Bridge isn't the greatest prince movie in the world, but I think it is pretty tolerable 2 watch (just for how good he looked and some of the songs in it). So I just watched the outtakes from this movie and I would say....that it was a good idea leaving most of them out. The only scenes that I would have picked 2 go into the final cut of the movie are "the question of u" with the cool dancers and "the latest fashion" (battle between morris & the kid).
What was up with the whole hangman scene?

still would have preferred having can't stop this feeling i got in it
and there are tons of other stuff cut out too just based on the trailers at the time like a scene with mavis and the kid and some others just like from PR and UTCM man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81 | |

Just watched Graffiti Bridge yesterday for the first time in 18 years!! I whole heartedly loved it compared to the first time. Maybe because For me watching Prince is like being a kid in a candy store, but the music, the dancing & acting of some in the movie was so enjoyable. Two things, I was waiting & waiting for the kiss during The Question of u but I suppose the human aspect of love can never be with your guardian angel, & then holy mama when Prince takes off that loose white top during Tick, Tick, Bang... I was a goner!  Sure enough Tick, Tick, Bang Prince...You've done it to me again! Ha ha Some great characters in this movie but perhaps I really enjoyed it cuz I love Prince's sense of humour & quirky ways. As time has told, not everyone will get it. | |

that holy trinity gonna be the death of meya cuz i have the chocolate box boot, and its quite funny seeing how much was left out i actuially like the hangman scene it would have added depth i guess

I just looked it up and finally saw the video that goes with "The Latest Fashion".
I guess the hangman scene had something to do with The Kid seeing himself hung in 'Purple Rain'???
The song arrangement for "Round And Round" was also interesting to hear.
Lots of things missing from the whole end presentation. Music AND video. Like they all say, it could have been...

Prince is terrible at Hangman Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

I mostly like the movie for The Time. So more Time outakes. You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B.
