Why does Prince always try to quickly attach his name to young upcoming singers? This girl would do well to stay away from him but she won't because she's upcoming and only knows he is the "legendary Prince" trying to help her more fans. However, this girl sounds 1000 times better than Andy so far. She's got something in her voice instead of that whispering crispy impro voice that Andy imitates.

And I really tried very hard to like her stuff, but she seems to be fake, and this women looks even better and more real than her, anyway.

He's smitten with Andy but probably cause of her stamina, all the modelling, looks and her determination for wanting to get to the top, which can be impressive considering her age, but I think Prince knows she's got a crap voice, she's got some presence on stage, but what's got that to do anythin with music?

It's already annoying enough to see her modelling photos on the associated artist forum, as if this has anything to do with music or Prince? What has she done so far musically, what is her contribution to the NPG? NOTHING!

Her eye brows are great. I think it looks great for her face, and not everybody has to have fake looking eyebrows.

I like her. She seems like a nice person in interviews and she has her own style. Plus, she can play multiple instruments, writes her own music and her lyrics are clever, and I like her vocal abilities. I think they might create something really interesting.

Agree 1000% with both comments - Andy kinda sorta sounds like this, but this Lianne is a gazillion times better! I love this voice! It has "that" quality, but not fake, and it's full and there's power behind it, and nicely controlled. You can tell she must have a more solid musical background (I know nothing about her, but I bet she does). I can imagine this voice singing "Love Is a Losing Game" and not having it look so raggedy next to the original, like Andy's version did. And I think she has better stage presence - she looks confident and mature (even though she's young), whereas Andy looked kinda like a kid (which has it's charms, I guess, if you tend to like schoolgirls and virgins, ahem...).

But alas, I think these very talented young female artists (like Esperanza, Janelle, etc.) do not need help in their careers and artistic vision, so I doubt a collaboration, but who knows.

Exactly, she doesn't really seem to be new. So I predict some kind of collaboration here, like he with Esperanza and Misty, but new Prince protegee??? Naaaah, she doesn't need to become a new Prince protegee to be successful. I predict this girl will make it on her own.

I wouldn't mind Prince reaching out to new artists either, if it wasn't the way he is doing it. If he will try to transform this girl into a funky singer just like he did with Andy, then it will not be something I am looking forward to.
