Don't get me wrong - I'm up for him tweeting if he wants to, but it really doesn't strike me as something he'd be up for. If that account starts chirping, it will almost certainly be at the hand of one of the lovely ladies in his life.

I really do hope he is not on twitter/facebook (even though I do follow both of them,lol). IMO,I do not see any good coming from him tweeting/posting. An official/free website will do.

It's interesting to note that he incorporated the NPG into his official Twitter account, which might be further evidence that a Revolution reunion tour including him is a far-fetched idea. Maybe he should have gone with something like @Prince2UPaisley, similar to the Pope's recent choice. He wants to be the Pope, after all, right?

What would be the practical difference between a Prince Twitter account created by Dr. Funkenberry and an "official" Prince Twitter account? Dr. Funkenberry is as close to an official P.R. spokesperson as Prince has these days anyway. Would he have done this (if he did it) without Prince's blessing? I doubt it.

The practical difference would be that it says THE only official account to dismiss the other fake accounts. There are people that don't know about Doc and him being some source for Information about Prince, that is more liable than any other fake account. I had a chat with Doc a while ago, and like any other fan who knows about the Prince Live fake account, he was pissed off about it too.

I am not trying to diss Doc here, but I doubt Prince would use twitter, it should be really common knowledge by know...just my two cents of course

Edit: Sorry, I think I misread your post. Yes, I think he'd have done this without Prince's blessing (if he did) just to steer away folks from the fake account, cause this is misleading a lot of people, and I wouldn't blame him if he created the new Prince account.
