I like the song....it's nothing spectacular but it's okay.... I must admit that she sounds like a Betty Davis/Erykah Badu wannabe.

Even that's not entirely true, to be honest with you. I don't plan on downloading or hearing shit from this album. Prince's latest output (the past 10 years, at least) doesn't warrant me trying to track down just any shit that he's on. And I'm sure there is a good number of people who, like me, won't bother either.

I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully Prince had a big input on all the songs.

Superconductor snippet, in all fairness, is too short for a fair jugement. As protege albums go the fact Allo already had a successful album prior to her prince involvement bodes well - I just hope for her sake Prince hasn't had too much involvment in the project. However, that seems real unlikely given his control issues

No prince fan is gonna pass up the chance to listen to the three Prince penned tracks. Especially given how sparse 2011-12 has been

But either way, I do see your point. I think Andy has talent, my only issue is.....is she allowed to be who she is as an artist and we all know that could be a problem with Prince. but we will see. I'm looking forward to hearing her new release.

She wrote 6 songs, Prince wrote 3. It is likely that Prince produced and performed far more than 3 songs. Since we also know that he is the Executive Producer for the album, that means he funded it.

for what it's worth I'm really liking what I've heard. Superconductor really does have that Controversy beat to it and the keys are up front and in your face - that 10 second clip gets me excited. Without a doubt will purchase this CD!!. Whatever P's motives are!, if the music if good then I'm there!.

Loved the tune!! Prince is still the man !! He just oozes funky sexy grooves.

Can't wait to hear this CD. I don't know much about her but she seems to know how to jam.

Yes, she's written songs. But did those snippets sound like her songs before meeting Prince? I'd say, 6 songs co-written by herself and P; the other 3 possibly co-written if she had any input, but since he's being credited to them, probably all P. Anyway, doesn't matter. Let's just hope they're good.
