One of his best. Love it when he does songs with a strong social conscience, plus it has beautiful melodies and instrumentation.

I feel the same way. It's an introspective song, tight musically, and I love the nasal/cold (for lack of a better description) vocals. I think he uses a similar sound on "The Word" from 3121.

I remember going to buy D&P at the Wreka sto and I remember walking in and hearing the begining of "Money Don't Matter" for the first time......at first i didn't know who it was because i hadn't heard any vocals yet but i knew that I liked it! The opening has such a great smooth and relaxing feel to it.....loved it ever since!

I like the music but the lyrics are unfocused.I don't think too many people really 'got' the message of the song.

This song drives me bonkers because musically it's never resolved. It's a very quirky chord sequence for a pop song. That's prince being cocky and interesting, but ultimately I give it a fail because it doesn't bring me enjoyment, it just makes me crazy. Another nail in the coffin that is Diamonds and Pearls.

Kodak theater was cool as all get out...plus I ended up at the house of blues and a official recording of me singing "girls and boys" in the audience. Plus it was 4/20!.....the 19th and the 20th....went to both.
