Hi fellow Orgers

I always liked the drawing that has been used in various forms on TMBGITW cover, booklet and posters for the album but all I ever was able to find was this low quality image online few years back.

Is there anyone here who knows a bit more about it or perhaps knows who designed it? I would love to lay my hands on a higher quality image but I guess so many years later this problably never gonna happend

Yes, I guess it would be Soo.. isn't there really no one that knows a bit more about this drawing?

Sad thing is, if it was nowadays, I could know everything about it but in 1994 the Internet wasn't what it is today..

I really hope though, that someone will be able to shed some light on the said artwork. I mean, if not here then where else I might have the chance to reach such broad fan base with unlimited P. knowledge and ask about this? ;-> I tried to do all sorts of Google searches but I coudln't find anything! i have this image and a reverse image hanging on my cubical at work.. i always dig this picture.. if i didnt have a prince tat i would proble get this as a tat..

I actually always assumed this was an androgyn drawing of a mix between P and a female. Due to the dark upperlip which resembled a moustache icw the way the head was done. It was the first thought then and that sticked untill this post.

Interesting! Do you by any chance have that image in a higher quality than the one attached? Maybe this one or the 'reversed' one

I always thought that if I ever completely lost my mind and got a tattoo, that I'd get this.

Levi also happened to be the President of NPG Records at the time. He probably had very little to do with it, besides rubber stamping it.

Levi is a musician. J.C. Munson did also designs for more Prince's "Come" album and is nowhere else credited in the links for performing on an instrument.
