In desperate need of Summer/Springtime Playlist!!!! Help me out!!! I need a sunny playlist! Lots of summery songs, kinda gettin hit here I live an I want something to jam too that ain't slow jams cuz that's want I've been doin. Nothing against slow jams there one of my favorite things! But give me some upbeat summer like songs that aren't darkish like black album stuff or nothing like that I want sunny stuff:)   give me suggestions:) is Sexy. Period. | |

Top of the list: Alexa de Paris. Sunniest, happiest song he's ever done.
The whole of Parade and Sign O The Times sound summery to me. Both were released on March 31 (of 1986 and 1987, respectively) - so they hit just as spring was taking off.

It's the perfect Springtime album/era, in my opinion. When I listen to Do U Lie?, Christopher Tracy's Parade, Under The Cherry Moon and others I can almost smell the warm, soft breeze of the Côte d'Azur in Spring/early Summer. | |
