NOW..looking at the list..I have exceeded the request of "3 Favorites" Seriously? Haha... How could we name 3 OUT of his whole catalog? He just has too manyy!!!

As annnoying as it is, to hear him say: "I have too many hits, we will be here all night" It's TRUE! If only he played many of these songs more often!

When You Were Mine Montreux 2009 (a similar solo was played on keys in one of the Lovesexy rehearsals). It's that guitar solo immediately after Renato's piano solo, and around the part Prince calls out, "Is that you clapping? Turn the lights on let me see."

I just think it epitomizes everything in a solo perfectly (sound, melody, skills/execution and emotion) AND it fits the song dynamically. When you hear that solo, it just makes you understand. I have the feeling it just belongs right there and it's the perfect conclusion to this song's emotional whirlwind.

I was listening to the album SoTT for the first time in ages and I was really taken with the solo at the end of Play in The Sunshine. It's got a really unusual tone for Prince but he still manages to make a solo that only he could create. Also the solo at the end of U Got the Look. For such a 'pop' song that's got an amazing solo buried at the end.
