Info on Record Label and unusual Vinyl Hi All, I'm new to this forum and read the charter so I hope I'm ok posting this. I've got this very strange Vinyl. The cover is a pretty normal Crystal Ball but the Vinyl is the one that is strange. The recording label is Brook Recording Co. and it says Phillipe and his consorts get together. Produced by Phillipe - 1989.
An other one I have is a Clubbing It that has some message on it that it was recorded infront of a small audience.
Any info on shedding some light on this would be really appreciated ,as although I do like his music I know very little about Prince.
Many Thanks,

Sounds like you bought some bootlegs. These are albums of unauthorized recordings or stolen outtakes, and created by people not associated with Prince or his record company.

Clubbing It is one of the many versions of the legendary "Small Club" bootleg of an aftershow from 1988.
Is this the message you speak of?
"Recorded in front of a small audience of only 300 people in a rare private show in the Summer of 1988, during the European tour at 3am in the morning. Recorded in super master stereo."

That's the exact message TheDigitalGardener. Thanks a mill for both your replies now I know at least a little of these. I had a suspicion they are bootlegs or even vinyls in wrong sleeves. They where found in an attick clear out.
