It did seem sort of weak but if you get into it it funks and rocks..especially when he gets into it and has to give the aside "fuckin' on your mind."

Doesn't Sexual Suicide sound more like a Parade album outtake since it uses the same sound (is it a Roland guitar synth sound?) as Girls & Boys?

Don't you guys dare remove "It" from this album that's one of the album's strongest songs! I really like that hard,pulsing beat and those 'nasty' lyrics...it's classic Prince! I even think it could have been a single.

It is SICK. One of the best cuts on the thing, period. I jam to that on the regular. It really should've been a single, I agree.

I would get rid of "Play in the Sunshine and "Starfish and Coffee". I loathe those songs; the cheesy pop tune doesn't really strike me as a good listen. I've always appreciated Prince's more experimental, unique style better. It was still relevant to the time, others were surely doing it, but he always seemed to do it in his own distinctive way and sound. Love it! Anyways, yeah, those songs would certainly go. Not sure what I would replace them with though.

Works for me especially because 'Slow Love' is also on the' Black Album'.

But I like the suggestion of 'Crucial' as a replacement over 'Shockadelica.'

While I was at it I'd replace 'It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night' with 'Train.'

'It's Gonna Be A Beautiful Night' always irritates me. Never liked it. Can't imagine why Prince thought it was album worthy. I'll listen to it if I'm listening to the album, but I have no problem skipping it.
