New Pro Shot footage of Musicology in Detroit 2004 30 mins of new pro shot footage from the Musicology tour in Detroit 2004 at the Palace of Auburn Hills. It's directed by Jeff Richter. I'm not sure of the exact date cuz i didnt watch the whole thing yet, but it looks to me to be either June 20 or June 21 2004. I was at all four 2004 Musicology Detroit shows! I'm hoping it's the July 31th show cuz I was in the front row and it'd be cool 2 see myself. Happy hunting!

This has actually been out for a few days now, so I'm surprised it's just getting mentioned. But yeah, it was a nice unexpected piece. As I always have said, there is just so much decent-quality material out there that's just being sat on, and it's just waiting for the current "owner" to get off his duff and put it out there and SHARE!!!

Isn't anyone tired of hearing this from every bootleg thread? What difference does it makes if Prince releases it or not when you're going to get the footage either way. Just be glad it's on (insert website here before the mods get jumpy) and stop complaining.. | |

Sigh...stop being cranky. I didn't even mention Prince. I was talking about people who have audio or video just like this Jeff Richter guy, and they haven't put it out there yet. That's why owner was placed in quotes, because though they have possession of it, they technically don't own the work. If I was referring to Prince releasing something, why would I use the word "share"??

I'd gladly pay right now to DL the full gig so it's another missed opportunity. If it were given an official release I wonder how many copies would actually be sold?, he's done a tonne of tours since so I guess it would be pointless at this stage given the amount of new/recent footage he could release. I will add this to the several other great bootlegs I have from that tour!, love the accoustic medley, so much better than the current frustrating keyboard driven schlock he's doing !. | |

Great show andP looked fantastic.
