I remember long time ago during some of the first music file sharing sites, a song came up by Prince called "Let Me Lick Your "

I thought somebody was pulling a prank but then again, back when P was bad maybe he did have a track with this title. Then today I came across this thread where somebody listed this one of their favorite songs...http://prince.org/msg/7/3...sg_8277341

Anybody ever heard this? I assume its a slow jam.

it's a cover of shockadelica and also includes the "talk to me lover" rap from alphabet st. ween are nuts, i love 'em

You actually really owe it to yourself to listen to a whole bunch of WEEN, and you need to listen to a whole bunch to grasp the band. They're exceptional! Aside from this Prince-y reference/cover, they sample the Alphabet Street scream, or "Ow!" or whatever you want to call it in soooomething, but i don't remember what. Point is they're great and L.M.L.Y.P is super great!

Ween are one the best bands on the planet.

They usually work "Kiss" into their song "Voodoo Lady" when playing live.

For more Prince "inspired" works of theirs, check out "Monique the Freak" from the Shinola vol. 1 album (also on the mp3 only internet release "Craters of the Sac" and the Quebec outtake (from the Ceasar Demos) "Ambrosia Parsley".

I have to say that the boys out-Prince Prince himself (especially the P of the 90s onward).

I believe that is in the video edit for "Push the Little Daisies". The video even has the clip from that section of the P video in it to mask the dreaded "S-word".
