Do You Love or Hate "The Sun The Moon and Stars" rap? I was listening to that song on the bus from my iPod. I got the song off of a music sharing website so it wasn't the official version. I listen towards the middle and right before the rap is about to start, it skips to the final chorus. That had me thinking that a fan would cut the rap verse out because he/she hated it. What do you guys think about it. I personally love it and would like to hunt down the person who cut out not only the rap but the part after it until the chorus.

Well, I don't know how the rap sounds on the version you have? But the official one has a reggae flow to it. It's not bad at all, It's not even like rap to me, rather an ode to reggae. It's not annoying at all, I love that song. It's pretty awesome, but it did take me a while to get into it. lol It's Button Therapy, Baby!

I don't care for it. It changes the mood of the song, which was not good for me. I actually loved the vibe of the song up to that point.
I need to find that "edit" or make my own. perfection is a fallacy of the imagination...

I love the whole song, but the rap isn't that special. I don't love or hate it, but I love the song as a whole.
Be aware that when getting music illegally, you often have songs botched for no particular reason, mislabeled, virus infected, etc... so the rap probably wasn't cut out because the person hated it.
You don't have Rave Un2? It's a good enough album and fairly easy/cheap to purchase.

I just didn't have the patience to pop the CD in just to rip one song. But I'll do that anyway soon since I fell in love with the title track and I want it on my IPod badly.

"come like the cold winter do in Montreal...."
Love that part. That's the only part of the rap that I actually don't think is ridiculous. How'm I gonna fill this empty room...

LOVE it...
I was undecided about this song the first couple times I heard it, but it made me a fan an underrated glimmer of light among a collosal collection of montony, selling out and just... eh had 2 run away... pride was 2 strong. It started raining, baby, the birds were gone

I love the song but the rap does bring it down a bit for me, it's the accent. You know it's false and I don't get why he used it.

a bit generic. It makes the song sound dated.
