I agree. It's a great song and definitely one of my favs on Emancipation. The guitar and bass in the last minute or so makes the song.

I love it.

Never really understood why the tracking has the intro tacked on to the end of Mr. Happy, though.

Can you tell it? I know it's for Wendy & Lisa, but I never really got more than that.

Mr. Happy is alright. but I keep forgetting to split the ITBIS intro off in an audio editor for my iPod, though, for when I want it with its own song instead of Mr. Happy.

what they'll tell you is he sent them the tapes, asked them to work on it, they did some stuff, returned it to him, and he didn't use any of it. and he may not have wanted to pay them for it either. or that may have just been Roadhouse Garden.

I don't think that is the case.

It's a song Prince wrote about/2 Wendy & Lisa

Besides Reflection, and the live appearances, I wonder if they recorded anything other tracks?

I remember being addicted to this song back in 'April-May 2011' it's helped me through some hard times! Every time I play it now, I always JAM to it! smile It's a song he should perform live! Imagine that? I mean the guitar, the vocals and meaning! This is just a special song, and one of my favorites from 'Emancipation' too! smile It's so GOOD! I'm jamming to it now! headbang

Thanks for the mention! smile

I agree. I have re-listened to that one probably more than any other on that album. The final funk grind you mention with bass and guitar is fantastic-- one to listen to with the volume all the way up.

This song is musical genius. Each instrument is conducted as if an orchestra is recording this song. Pure brilliance, IMO.

This is another song, that will knock you out, if you don't already believe that prince is an angel/genius/brillant musician.
