I started a thread about this a week ago...but in my thread I was talking about how terrible Musiq is and how much he ruins It Ain't Over.

I think you'll find most people agree with me on that, on this site...not to say you are WRONG...just that this is a very unpopular track.

The guts of this song was originally written and recorded by Sly and the Family Stone as the song "If You Want Me to Stay"...Musiq took the original chord progression and added his own melody (if you can call it that) and lyrics. I suggest you listen to the original, classic song of Sly's, rather than Musiq's abortion.

I do know this is a great soulful song and It was also on the soundtrack 2 Nutty Perfessor ...and has a great video 2.
