I know about the danish princes, crown Prince Frederik and his younger brother.. however I did not know Joachim was there at the NPG festival, cool. Unfortunately I could not go, health troubles... me and big crowds outdoor isn't a good cocktail.

I prefer Prince playing smaller venues - indoor like Falkoner in 2002.

A UK tour, its about time. Manchester my home town its been near 10 years since. I know one of the best places Prince likes 2 play is London, & 21 nights there was a big commercial success, fans wishs come true. So did mine.

The thing about the UK is, he is a house hold name here, even strangers have a positive word 2 say about him, hundreds of people i have met in my life, always like one of his songs, prolific as he is.

Anybody who didn't recieve their shirt has good reason to complain. Nobody else does. Nothing was promised to you except a shirt and his new albums. I subscribed to the site, I don't regret it, and I'd probably subscribe to the next one. Three albums and a t-shirt is worth $77 to me.

Hear hear Sambluedolphin! It's been 17 year since he last graced my shores, but I've moaned enough about that in the past! Ha ha! He'll follow where his heart is going & if it's not to the UK, then a journey shall I have. Cuz I'm never again letting a chance slip by me, to see & hear the only music, & the only one that can turn my soul to holy fire!

if you want to see an artist these days you need to be prepared to travel a tiny bit and not expect everyone to turn up on your doorstep

not to mention that it's up to promotors to book artists, artists don't choose where they are going to play

Too true Unique. I'm no waiting with bated breath that he'll come to Scotland any time soon, so I'll need to go to the funk, wherever it's at. Couldn't get time off work in 2002 for Manchester & for 21 nights in London I had tickets but I was nearly 8months pregnant at the time & was wary of travelling. So I sold them to a mate. Plus the excitement would probably have sent me into labour! Everybody I knew & their Granny got to see him at 21 nights, just not little ol' me. If there's a UK tour in the pipeline, surely promotors in Scotland will know of it & will want to book him for up here? But I haven't a Scoobie how it works.

tours usually start with a promotor approaching an artist with a tour offer and the artist says yay or nay. with the money that big artists want these days it means promotors want solid and easy options. so filling a venue in scotland big enough to sell out requires a fair investment

Honestly I don't know, would have to wait and see, but if one day he decides to do a cd of rarities it would sell to the hardcore fans like hot cakes that can't wait to come out of the oven. He wouldn't even have to do a pre-announcement that it was on it's way soon. It could be two different cds containing rarities and released on the same day of the announcement. I suppose he could use DrFunkenberry's page to announce the release or whatever source he chooses to use, but I think that would be fun if he did something like that. Who knows? Anyway, for 2012, guess we'll have to wait and see if he releases something new.

I am behind his limo and next to the cab when the woman pops and prince and I pull the babies out!
