It's possible the HRC wound up with "bootleg" product they bought off of Ebay, they have warehouses of stuff they've acquired over the years, and experts who authenticate usually catch it, but not always. The shirt could be verified with whoever handled the wardrobe on that tour. The guitar - maybe was used in a video, could be a prototype, or something bought off of Ebay.

Dick Clark's American Bandstand franchise wound up with bootleg product in the stores. Hard Rock has so much stuff that they have even more warehouses full of memorabilia, and odds are good some of it's bootleg that somehow the authenticators didn't catch.

Yes, at 19, I finally saw the Revolution, a legendary band. And I talked to Wendy!!! biggrin In addition to seeing Prince, I have now lived life. Thank you Purple People!!

Oh wow, that's an interesting read. I didn't know Hard Rock was able to like acquire these sorts of things in warehouse-stock form.
