Prince all that Jazz

I think he may very well end up focusing on becoming a Jazz artist.I guess that's what you gravitate too when age and maturity sets in maybe I am wrong .I think Prince is Fed up with the Funk shake good Lawd in the heavens where will I get my funk fix ,is Jazz a safe haven for Prince not to feel that urge to in shake his booty! . I guess it wouldn't be that bad,now that he is in a laid back groove I hope he will work with my favorite female singer Sade oh how sweet that would be.I was listening to Punch Drunk from The Promise cd and I could almost visualize a duet. mr.green The Isley Brothers are still rocking but on the other hand they have a formula has not changed and that's good to but some how I fear seeing Prince old singing and scating with maceo Najee and Wynton.oh I forgot Larry too he is a permanent fixture .share your thought how you think Prince and his GOLDEN YEARS 49 + will be

Got any examples?

Wynton is a musical snob that looks down on
almost anything but jazz, blues, and
classical music. He even looks down on
Miles's electric jazz. You think he wants to
work with this guy who wore assless pants?
Forget it.

I doubt he will become focused on jazz primarily. He's been dabbling for too long. Prince is just in class of artists who could be labeled adult contemporary funk. You shouldn't expect a whole lot of booty! because that brotha is getting on up there as far as is age is concerned.

Yeah, tend to agree with you. He is a "technically" amazing trumpet player and composer, but he's obsessed with labelling music and reliving the past.

Although Prince has seemingly "given up the funk", I respect him for that cause he's already proved himself in that light - now it's time to see WHAT ELSE he can do...
As I've said on many occasions here, I think TRC, ONA (studio) and Xpectation are three of the freshest Prince albums to come out in years. Look foward to the next dish!
