Anyone who has not been satisfied with Prince at any point in time... ...was not truly happy with themselves at those same points in time. Do you agree?

That is a very simplistic view of music, as far as myopinion goes - and it is as indicative, as it is inquisitive.

Anji, what's up w/ this question? Is this what you truly believe? If so, why don't you explain why.
In the meantime, where's the real Anji? Are you a fembot or what?

...was not truly happy with themselves at those same points in time. Do you agree? You're talking about those music fans who aren't fans of Prince, eh? If they were never satisfied at any point in time how could they ever become a Prince fan in the first place? Anji This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

That's a very interesting sorta chemical feeling question Anji.
When things are good in my life,ALL Prince music sounds good and almost appropriate. I think I know what your trying to say...hmmm...if Prince feels connected to himself when he's recording, then the music he puts out is REAL and EMOTIONALLY HONEST to himself. I know that doesn't make much sense but I'm on my 4th glass o' wine...

I couldn't stand LRC when it first came out I thought Duran Duran sang it. I just entered high school at that time and I had stopped listening Prince, more important things to do. Then Purple Rain came out...

No. Sometimes Prince just sucks. Sometimes as an artist and sometimes a person. Sometimes at the same time. Sometimes I do too, but the two are mutually exlusive. One isn't the cause or effect of the other.

What's up with your answer, gurl?
In the meantime, where's the real Anji? Are you a fembot or what? By the way, I never said this is what I truly believe. The explanations will come when they warrant being expressed.

Our attitudes, our beliefs and our expectations on our Prince.

When we understand and expect where Prince is emotionally and spiritually at any point in time, our expectations on him should adjust. Given that some of these attitudes don't, it might mean that there is something not quite computing with those fans.

I know you never said it was what you believed, I was asking you if it was what you truly believed. Seems like SUCH a one sided question. IMO, one doesn't have much to do w/ the other. When your life/attitude is shit you can see lots of things through a negative haze, but that haze would have to be awfully strong to make good music sound bad. The way the Q is worded is a total cop out, makes it seem like the listener just isn't hearing correctly I can win the lotto, find the man of my dreams & have a fantastic family reunion all in the same day but I guarantee you Courtin' Time & Jughead will NOT be played, LOL... Are we even talking about music here? If not, hot damn, that's a lot of typing to be so off track

Prince sucking and you sucking are mutually exclusive BUT I imagine that at the times when you suck the hardest, you'll find yourself thinking Prince sucks the hardest too.
