North Sea Jazz Festival I saw a few clips of Prince performing at the North Sea Jazz Festival this past summer.Just brilliant man!Joy In Repitition and Dear Mr.Man were just outstanding.I know the concerts were filmed professionally but were they professionally recorded?I sent an e-mail to NSJF recently and they told me they didn't record the concerts, since Prince is so strict of certain people recording his shit.Maybe his own sound people recorded the shows and Prince locked the shows away in his own vault, like so many of his stuff that one day hopefully will see the light of day.Thank You!

It would make for a better album than anything that comes out of his studio nowadays! Those nights were truly wonderful even though the first one had a rough start and I missed the second one.(when the clips you talk about were recorded.) The third night also had some magical moments.

If he ever would release a dvd.. it must be North Sea Jazz gigs. Been to all 3. All especially the second and the last one were pure magic.

There are some great bootleg dvd's/cd's released from these, audience recorded. 'North Sea Nights' especially night2 is awesome. Have a look at 'The W2A: Euro Tour Song Survey' http://prince.org/msg/12/362417
