Love or $ was prof of all that. Ahh the good ole days... RIAA 'nuff said. AWESOME SONG!! *sigh* Nostalgia. It can make me feel both so happy and so sad at the same time for things now past. Great memories, and an incredible era in Prince history.

I always refer to 'Love Or $' as Camille's first appearance. Even though it isn't officially it's the first time he pitched his voice up and released it. "Baby...we could play for days, and if ya get dry, I'll give ya that mayonnaise". C'mon how can you not love a line like that. Those horns! That groove! Damn Prince...I miss u man. Alas! ANOTHER reason to support the fact that Wendy & Lisa were the BEST thing to happen to him. "only people wit' money can do this dance, Murphdraaaaaag, bankrolls gettin' heavy in my pants"

Can someone tell me at what time the different versions
of Love Or $ clock in? I only have 1 version that is about 4 minutes and 30 sc but I'm not sure if it's a complete song since it ends kind of abrubtly. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Swang, u are indeed right. I stand corrected. I SHOULD have said it was the 1st song he utilized the pitched up voice throughout the ENTIRE song. Both songs are two of his best. Damn fine tracks! "only people wit' money can do this dance, Murphdraaaaaag, bankrolls gettin' heavy in my pants"
