I'm talking about promotion, tours, music style, publicity, videos, lyrics... The whole enchilada. I personally would love to see another SOTT effect come through. Highly creative music, great threads, awesome band, and a killer movie video. I would settle for a smooth 3121 effect. That was a good time also. The entire 3121 package was great.
We are all so full of doody here

No, it isn't. I want him to come up with something NEW! Something that's unlike any of his previous records. But given that he has made so many albums already and done so many genres, he can do soul ballads just as easy as guitar rock, it's becoming harder & harder not to repeat himself. That's why I'm not holding my breath waiting for a new album. He's given us so many already. I'm actually quite happy with where Prince is at these days, being a great performer, playing his big hits (of course he does, whaddaya expect, really?) plus some rarities from the past and some Lotusflower tracks.

I would go for a small snip of each period.

If it's any certain "style" then it's a step backwards in my opinion. His best work couldn't be pegged to any particular style.

As to promotion? If it's good, just let the work speak for itself. Overselling anything looks undignified.

Great performances and great music will get people in line.

The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein. Dig if you will the picture, of the Mothership landing on stage and Prince walking out.

The Census Bureau estimates that there are 2,518 American Indians and Alaska Natives currently living in the city of Long Beach.
