I went to the cinema back in the 80s with a friend of mine who was not into Prince but totally into breakdance. Needless to say that 20 sec sequence with the balcony dancers rescued me that day....

Good grief, eveyone was Prince's ex. Makes you wonder if they got the job before they were romantically involved with him, or if they got the job because they were romantically involved with him.

I've seen him on a few videos, the one that springs to mind is when he carries Prince to the stage to join James Brown and Jacko.

Big Chick Huntsberry, Prince's security guard.

Later sold stories about Prince to the media after leaving his employment but regretted it and I believe apologised to Prince. He died in the early 90's I believe, and I think Prince may have covered the funeral costs.

From what I remember, Prince did an entire preview of a Nude Tour concert with an introduction honor to Big Chick after he died.

Well Kim Upsher was his girlfriend in high school and was around at least until before Dirty Mind and they remained friends after breaking up. I'm guessing she got the role because she was around when he was out there struggling trying 2 make it, and she loved him before the fame and the money.

That's cool. It's just that Prince always had 3-4 current/past/secret girfriends in or around whatever project he was working on back then. It seems that every time someone inquires about a woman in Prince's , the response is, "Oh, that was his ex." Just funny.

Thats cool that he gave jobs to those he knew.
