Point #3 I oftentimes wonder what influence can be attributed to artists such as Prince (and Madonna), who have since seen 'the light' and abandoned their overtly sexual images, when analyzing the roots of our over-sexualized culture of today. Are we a society playing out the fruits of a legacy that influentual artists/tastemakers once convinced us to embrace only to themselves turn a 360 and hypocritically denounce in their salad years?
