and honestly, Prince has that same quality. We have laughed at him his entire career. He played in buttless pants for god's sake.

And I could not take my eyes off this clown either. But this guy not only showed no originality, he showed no musical talent. If he'd sung the song well, or even sung more than a glimpse of it, I might have given him some points for how hard he tried, but nah, he sang the song so badly I did not even know what song it was.

Is he visual with stage presence?.... Yes.

Can he move? ...Yeah..good energy (even though he started to get a little winded near the end).

Can he sing?... Not really.

If he was a frontman for a group he might be able to pull it off. There's nothing wrong with taking the best from someone you admire but you have to make it your own thing. Make it modern.

If Siameze revamped his style, look and worked on his voice he might be able to do something.

Even though we all know P had/has an ego, he backed it up. Siameze needs to lose his and just work on being better.

Here's what I think about this Siameze character :

* Anyone who gets on a stage and does a performance of any kind gets a pat on the back from me, regardless of what they do or how they do it how how good or bad it is.

* Siameze is obviously a big Prince fan. Nothing wrong with that, Prince is a very good artist and very influential.

* So far he hasn't demonstrated much originality, but he has demonstrated admiration for a very good artist, and an ability to emulate him in some aspects very well, which shows a lot of skills. He may or may not have anything to offer in terms of originality, but no one knows yet. But he does have talent, and good taste.

* From the short time that he was there, he struck me as a pretty likeable and interesting guy. He took his criticism well, which shows a good attitude.

* If he is able to apply his skills to his own original stuff, he could be very good. I think he should tone down the Prince thing and demonstrate what he himself is all about. But it's very easy to become obsessed with Prince so if he finds that hard it's understandable, and I wouldn't blame him.

* Other people have gone on X Factor and shown a strong influence from a well known artist. Because Prince is so distinctive, it's very easy to criticise someone like Siameze as a copycat but the fact is that he's only doing what others have done in regard to other artists, and actually he does it well.

* If he does tone down the Prince thing, and goes far in the contest, it would be good.

* Compared to everyone else, he stands out. He's a bit freaky, which makes him interesting. Not a bad thing.

* He should have sung more.

* I found myself staring at his ass to the point where I'm now wondering if I'm straight or gay. Although I know I'm not black. I think. Good balls too.

I thought Siameze was great. Yes, Prince had some big hair in Grafitti Bridge but Siameze was definitely going for early-years Prince look; the vest, the jeans, and not too flashy and glossy and pristine. He had incredible energy; I've never seen anyone else do those Prince moves so well. And I reallly liked his attitude; while his performance was one of the most confident of all that I've seen from these types of shows, he was gracious after it, even when LA Reid gave him a 'no'. And didn't you notice that he doesn't actually mention Prince until backstage, commenting on the fact that Simon said he to him that he was obviously a Prince fan, Siameze saying, something along the lines that that was due to the hair and heels. This suggests that his act, even if heavily influenced, might not always be such a Prince pastiche. And lets not forget, he didn't actual do a Prince song. Smart move.

^ Well, judging by that video, it looks like he has tried to incorporate some of the dance styles of JB/Prince/MJ/TTD in his stage performance, but he definitely has to do some work on his singing, if he intends to stay in the competition and win against the other contestants on the X-Factor. I also think the opinions here about his performance on that show, is pretty fair and balanced. I wish him luck though.

Prince has the theatrics but we're not a fans solely based on the theatrics. we love his music and his genius too.

I wouldn't have a problem with Siamaze's copycat act if he was actually a good singer or musician,but The guy is terrible.

People copy prince all the time ie...D'angelo , Lady gaga. .. but they are also decent in the craft of music as well.

I had to laugh when he said "I'm'bout to bust it babyyyy!" Then when he hits the floor to hump it, it looked like his asscheeks got stuck midway into the air from the weight of his ass. Lawd have mercy brother "Sigh" is going to have to cut down on the double cheeseburgers if he wants to keep up with the rhythm of swift dance moves. He's funny and entertaining at the same time. Can't get mad at him for trying, and I think I'm going to enjoy watching how "Sigh" will present his own identity during this competition.

The only Prince I see is in some of the moves and then lady-man-boots.
