She actually won her case.
Do you have any links about that (other than the article debunked by snopes?)
Even if a movie is inspired by a small paragraph, they have to give credit to the source.
Agreed, although it does not mean that the person that wrote the paragraph wrote the film. It means that they, in some way, inspired the film.
I do believe that the same source that inspired The Third Eye also inspired The Matrix. However, I don't think that source is Sophia Stewart (depending on how philosophical you want to get).

Debunked? Everything is debunked on the net. I have read it on her facebook page. I dont think she won large sums of money but I think the court has acknowledge her claim. They did not dismiss her and she is still fighting. These movie companies do rip off people and you never hear about the real writers. The music industry does the same. They bury the name of the unknown creators and make billions off their art. It is vicious. I do believe her and I feel for her. You should check out her interviews on youtube.

If the courts acknowledged her claim, she would have won a great deal of money. They didn't. All they did, as far as I can see, is grant her the right to take further action if she chooses to.
Thanks for the interview link. There are some interesting quotes in there though that I don't think help her case, such as
"Then I got to thinking about a concept that no one had ever even thought of and that was the second coming of Christ."
and
"...I have never seen the movie Terminator and it doesn't matter and I have never seen Matrix Reloaded or Revolutions and that doesn't matter...they plagarised my work."
I agree that movie and music industries rip people off. I just don't think this is one of those cases.

What she means is that they used her idea for the first Matrix. Reload and Revolution was something they created. No wonder it sucked.

"Then I got to thinking about a concept that no one had ever even thought of and that was the second coming of Christ." You should listen to more of her interviews if you are interested in what this woman has to say.

An email of hers that I saw printed was signed, "Sophia Stewart Writer of the Matrix & Terminator Movies"
Given that she's never seen any of the Terminator movies and only one of the Matrix movies, I think she needs to get clear on her claims.

Thanks for providing them
She's obviously gifted and blessed - I just feel she has been derailed completely from her path by persuing a cause that is not as righteous as it may seem. Clearly she, amongst yourself and others, disagree.
So probably best we agree to disagree and get back to discussing Prince's favourite things
I know he loves riding bicycles

She is very clear on her claims and she defends them passionately. The truth is there if people are interested.
Sooooo he likes bicycles huh? I wonder what he is doing right now.
