Does anyone know what the meaning of this song really is?

Yeah, there seems little substance to this one either musically or lyrically. The title has a very familiar sex/spirit redemption theme, yadda, yadda - by this point I think he was on to his themes any way since Lovesexy was just around the corner. Maybe he had the main groove/pattern and he had to do something quick with it, it feels un-thoughtful as a track.

Don't get me wrong, it's an OK track, but a simple case of talkin' loud sayin' nothin' maybe?

It kind of a precursor of Lovesexy and Blackalbum themes

It's like a feeling that prince had, and wanted you to feel and acept when you hear the song or album

Lovesexy = love, god, light

Superfunkycalifraisexy = sex, dark

Rebirth of the Flesh = new sound or directon, get up dance, party

This was the perfect opening track on the camille album and would have gave you a taste to what to expct
