Sign "O" The Times videoclip...

Hi all,
I got a question...who was the director of the videoclip 4 Sign "O" The Times??? It was a stunning clip back then..and it still is!!! But I haven't got a clue who came up with this idea, did Prince make it himself?? Looking forward 2 hear from u if u know who the director was 4 this piece of art...
