I have this EXACT SAME problem with the ending of "Vicky Waiting"....that guitar solo swells at 4:22 and then just melts away !!!!! Adding insult 2 injury was hearing MORE of that solo as BACKGROUND MUSIC in the damn casino fundraising scene in "BATMAN."

It was almost like he was standing off by himself going..."Yeah....that wicked solo I teased u fools with on the CD....here's what ur looking 4 BURIED UNDER CROWD NOISE !!!!!"

I find the Pop Life sport interlude quite frustrating.

Joint 2 Joint where the funky beat part near the end only last a short while. best part of the whole song...

Yeah.

Same thing with the outro of "When You Love Somebody" ending so soon. It's the best part of the song. Probably the most energetic thing on that album.

I find the production on "Rave" to be very frustrating. If only the drums would sound different on couple of the tracks the record would have been so much better. It's like "it would have taken them 1-3 days to make this record a lot better."

I often dream of an extended version of 'Wedding Feast', song's way to short.

not really frustrating but in the end of Dorothy P some kind of wah wah guitar comes in. I wish that could have lasted a bit longer.

Why is I Wonder U so short. I always wish it would keep going knowing it will end at 1:40. Would have loved to hear where it could've gone and for Prince to join in vocally. Also wish that he kept screams of passion for himself. Yes I've heard the rehearsal version but the quality is so poor. Would love to know if a cleaner finished version exists.

Do a search for the recently re-done Charade boot. That's the cleanest version I've heard. I've often thought of mixing the album version with the demo version to see what it would sound like. Might give it a go now

I also don't like his tendency to throw in a jazzy interlude bridge into a pop or rock song which is really just a variation of the talk show band interlude.

Yes it just really ruins the flow of the beat I feel!

The guitar solo in "I Hate U" it should have been MUCH LONGERRR THAT THAT! I was just craving more of it, then it stops! lol

Gett Off..The guitar solo is way too short at the end..lol

So many times Prince at his best cut himself short of making it sooo awesome!

Love 2 The 9's Rap use to bother the heck out of me...lol. Now I just go along with it!
