Those sunglasses were different. The ones he wore in 2010 looked different. The were smaller and more sleek.

It was good when Prince did it, but not for everyone. And, no Prince shouldn't appear (in public ) with this get-up anymore--although he'd probably rock-it still today.

Well... there is a certain live clip from the recent European tour, in which Prince is channeling that era, both in wardrobe and in ULTRA high energy mode. It was almost eerie, because it could've easily been a clip from the 'Purple Rain' tour, like from "Baby I'm A Star"...

Can't say where or what it is, but I gotta admit, it sure was cool.

Please note, that this is coming from me... the guy who doesn't want Prince to revisit anything, the guy who appreciates the Prince he is NOW... The guy who thinks 'Lotusflower' is one of his best albums ever.

Eyeballing the height difference between Prince and George Lopez during that April 2011 appearance, couldn't help but notice that Prince didn't look THAT much shorter than Lopez (who's 5' 10"). But his red boots had 3" to 4" heels, and the pompadour added another several inches. Poof. From 5'2" to 5'6" or 5'7".

Beyonce did.

80s clothes are basically back in fashion,so if Prince were to dress like that nowadays,he wouldn't even look out of place
