What if he gets Alzheimers and thinks it's 1983 and pulls out all the old clothes?

It would be a blatant & despicable attempt at cheap nostalgia

I don't want P wearing the PR outfit as a I don't Jagger wearing his old 70s clothes/suits again, for example...

He wore something VERY similar around 1999/2000, only with long, straight hair instead of the curly look. But the trenchcoat looked very similar. I think it was a guitar magazine cover or something.

No, but our outfits weren't as hip as his were back in 1984, so that's not an accurate analogy. Besides, haven't you heard that what's old is what's new again? Styles from the 60s and 70s have come back, so Prince wearing the PR outfit these days wouldn't really look THAT weird. The colonial shirts he wore back then were worn 20 years earlier, so it's all relative.

My only question would be why would he. It would be a blatant attempt to recall that time just for commercial gain (instead of it just looked good) to get ppl to remember him, and THAT would be the embarrassing part!

His and band's trench coat look kicked much ass!! Wish he'd bring it back, but only with attitude like he used to. And no, I'm not expecting the full Rude Boy to make a return (though it wouldn't hurt if it did), but just that fearless, hungry, "I don't give a shit" attitude he ONCE had. I guess no one stays "hungry" forever, though.

When he went on THE VIEW in Dec. 2010 to hand out tickets to his show, he had on a black sequined jacket and the oval sun glasses and gloves that looked just like 1984 When Doves Cry video .. and people were flippin' out.

That's the first thing I said... man, he looks like he walked out of that video and looked damn good. Just updated alittle. That was refreshing I must say.

Those sunglasses were different. The ones he wore in 2010 looked different. The were smaller and more sleek.

He would look like an old tit who ran out of good ideas.

He would make a fool of himself.
