One of the reasons i made this thread

is to try and beat the assholes who have the nerve to put free fan releases like this up for sale

on sites like Ebay

Another reason for me doing so , is because it's a fantastic set that needs to be heard

(especially day2 , but i suppose i'm biased , because i was there on that day )

i'll have to check this out. the set list w/Colonized Mind looks good. it'll be my first concert boot! (apart from a cassette of the Lovesexy tour years ago. LOL)

It seems to be a great reflection of the music Prince is playing currently.

You think so? I don´t find it typical at all since most of the songs he played are songs that he rarely plays, like Girl, Empty Room, Colonized Mind....great setlist here.

If it wasn´t for rehearsal, outtake and concert bootlegs I wouldn´t have bought so many legit releases...it´s the bootleg recordings that raised my interest in Prince´s music.

I really like his rendition of Girl. I prefer the cold, electronic feel of the original but this one sounds nice, too. I love the guitar in this one. A little bit of that keyboard motif of the original would´ve been cool.

The 2nd night was too loud and distorted unlike on this release

The 1st and 3rd are far better too

What I meant is that this set includes both the songs that he's playing at every gig and others which he seldom plays, Colonized Mind for example. But it's true that there are songs that I don't know if he has played other than here, Girl being the one that comes to mind now.
