Am I the only one that wishes boots these days would put an asterisk next to the songs that Prince doesn't sing lead vocals on?

Nothing more disappointing than seeing what looks like a cover song -- only to discover Shelby J. or some other current NPG member on lead vocals.

I mean, no offense to Shelby or fans of Shelby, but if I'm going pay $25 for a boot (circa 1995) or 25 minutes downloading a boot, I want to know if Prince is taking the night off on vocals.

I can't be the only one that feels this way.

Good GOD that was SAD !!!! I'm a HUGE Seal fan and it made me feel simply AWFUL 4 him.

It's not the job of the people who put these recordings out to let downloaders know which songs are not sung by Prince.

They do enough hard work as it is, and lets face it, downloading is not sweat inducing work is it? If, when your download is complete you don't like what you hear you can always delete it with no harm done. It's pretty much par for the course that Shelby and whoever will be singing a number of songs at a Prince show these days, it's been that way for a long time now, and I would think that anyone interested in obtaining a live recording from 2011 will know that.

And not all downloads are as big as this one, a general 2 disc recording including all art can be downloaded in a matter of minutes, even less depending on your internet connection.

As for Shelby, i'm not keen on her either, but hopefully she will be gone soon enough, these people never hang around forever.

Prince should keep Shelby around. Because thanks to her (and those like her over the last couple of decades, I have stopped downloading live material unless it is something someone points me towards that's actually worth downloading.

Back in the day, it was my mission to own everything. Now I can't be bothered to waste the bandwidth/hd space. Just not worth it.

Having absorbed this release now, I have to say it's an impressive document.

Show 2 is my favorite, apart from Seal, never have I been as glad to hear Shelby in my life as when she and Prince took over from Seals clubbing of Mountains.

Top release.

Totally agree. Show 2 has the best vibe. Show 3 has a great set list & is pretty great too. Night 1 is decent, but kind of a generic show.

And.. Seal should never be allowed anywhere near a Prince stage again... WTF was that he did to Mountains? Sounded like someone clubbing a Seal.

I thought all you crazy fams would be tripping over yourselves to grab video of Prince performing in 2011.

They really are very good indeed, spectacular for audience footage.

All 3 nights are now out and free as a bird.

Or maybe it's that more and more people have a storage problem and they're waiting for the pressed versions...

I have DVD2 and the picture is impressive. Felt the sound was a little poor though.
