Love thy will be done! Amazing track! Would love to hear him sing it!
Btw, did you all know this about Nothing Compares to U?
Fachtna O' Ceallaigh, Sinead O'Connor's manager at the time, discovered the song and said to her: "This is a song for you". She re-recorded the track for her second album I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got without Prince's participation, bringing the song to worldwide prominence. Prince had intended to give the song to one of his female protégées. As the song became a hit, it led to feud between O'Connor and Prince. O'Connor said: "At the time he had a lot of female proteges and I had covered his song without having anything to do with him. He invited me to his house in Los Angeles and started to give out to me for swearing in interviews. When I told him to go fuck himself he got very upset and became quite threatening, physically. I ended up having to escape. A few blows were exchanged. All I could do was spit. I spat on him quite a bit".
Crazy ungrateful Biiiib!!!! Where would she be without that song???

That is actually in circulation and has the multilayered vocals and would have served as a perfect single from D&P had he kept it for himself. Instead of having it compete with his own Gett Off.

Sigh...Prince never wrote that. He was JOKING when he asked who wrote it on the Nude Tour. And even if he wasn't, he only asked WHO wrote it, not declared that HE wrote it.
Funny how people thought he was actually SERIOUS lmao
Ya know! Prince has always joked about Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis stealing his stuff or telling them he better not hear some new tune on their records! Lol! Like they'd sample or steal something from the Parade album (when this comment during a "rehearsal" show was made)! |

Provided they were all his, I would say everything off the 1st two Time records, everything off the The Family. I'm guessing he wrote Sex Shooter and Nasty Girl? Add those.
100MPh and Dance Electric - check.
If he wrote Glamorous Life - add that one too. |
