Well Shorty, I feel the same way about this as I do about alot of my Prince stuff..it's new and exciting when you first get it, but then the excitement wears off. Other than listening to JIR off ONAL, I don't listen to the new album. Plus, my opinion of P has changed since I started coming here. | |

ahh...I see. I agree it's no longer new and exciting but...I don't suddently dislike something when the newness wares off. You really only like JIR off of ONAL? wow! that sux! I love that whole 3rd CD (cept the musiq tune) I really dig the 2nd album too...the first is so so..but...I enjoy it none the less. oh no! please tell me you haven't let this place influence your opinion of prince or his music?!?!? good gawd...we don't know what the hell we're talkin' about in here!  take everything with a grain of salt. good luck to ya!

I don't believe that I was really rational before I found you guys! I was in my own little Prince world and did not know about the experiences that other people had, especially with the club...maybe that's why there is no fan forum on his website: he wouldn't want the happy ones commingling with the not so happy ones. The Org has taught me to be more understanding of both sides, and that's a great thing.
As far as the new album, I didn't say I didn't like it, I just don't listen to it anymore. JIR is not the only song I liked off ONAL, it is the only one I listen to because it speaks to my soul. I really can't explain it. | |
