Folks here have damn near called the members everything except a child of God. Even spoken ill of some of their looks. It isnt just some simple "oh I do not prefer them" statements said while eating cheese with crackers and champagne. Now allegedly Kanye has them booted from his show and everyone is crying foul after weks of there critical nonsense. Its ironic as hell or at the very least shows how... hypocritical..critics are.IMHO of course.

I like to know whose post you are reading where they called NPG members anything but.

Only thing people comment on is how they are not great musically not many orgers make personal attacks against NPG. Very few Orgers have called them (insert Rude comment here)Yes orgers can be alittle intense but if its outline offensive the mods delete it.

Its like your hinting that its wrong for people to have an opinion.

You are totally reaching with this one bud.

No, I'm not.

Evidently you'v ebeen indoctrinated that you cant see it from the outside the things that have been said and how people have come across. But what's to be expected..it's three..minus three...

Less than 24 hours after Kanye West took the stage with Prince & The NPG, and as graceful as Prince's people were to treat Kanye with respect, Kayne did the exact opposite to Prince's crew the next night. We were told this news EXCLUSIVELY!

We were first told about this incidint last night by a few people who attended Kanye's concert last night and even a crew member. Members of the NPG, including singer Shelby J. were invited to attend Kanye's concert after Kanye rocked the stage with the Prince & The NPG the night before. The NPG were sat by the stage by Kanye's people before the show.

Early during the show with Kanye on stage, Kanye told something to his DJ and told the NPG to leave. Now, we can confirm Kanye himself invited the NPG himself to his concert, so why did he do that to them? It comes off as he treated them rudely while the night before, Prince's people were showing Kanye nothing but love and hospitality to the rap star and his entire posse. They even broke out champagne for Kanye and his people per his request.

While attending the show, he was even invited to perform with Prince as you can see in the video posted here. Mr. West was in the building and got major love.

The NPG felt so disrespected by Kanye that they left 5 minutes into the show! We reached out to Prince's camp but have not heard anything back from them yet.

It sucks to hear that they gave Kanye the VIP treatment at the Prince show, making sure all his demands were taken care of, and then the next night, in return, Prince's crew was treated like Taylor Swift at the Video Music Awards. How embarrassing for them.

So Mr. West, you going to runaway from this?-Dr.FB

I'm with u on this. Just sounds like a bunch of heresay to me. Plus Shelby who seems very outspoken would have addressed it. I feel what someone else said that he expected Prince 2 b there & was disappointed. I would have been to. To rock Prince's stage and not get a return favor.

But then again Prince doesn't swear anymore. So it would have been against the JW police to attend.

Kanye West is a total waste of space...this just proves it. He is not even in the same league as Prince. Quite why Prince even had him on stage is a mystery to me but probably reflects his generous nature. Prince must have been fuming after hearing about this, understandably. Kanye is a total ass...Prince you don't need to hang around people like him.

This topic reminded me that I had to go cop Watch The Throne. So I took the train to Oslo City and bought me a copy biggrin . This and all of his other albums are way more original and innovative than the last 10 prince albums. And I'm not even that much of a fan of Kanye, other than the fact that he is a forward thinking musician.

What IS "original and innovative"? You may be influenced by something that sounds new to you, but comparing an album by Kanye West to an album by Prince is a bit like comparing a pear to a tamarind.

Gemini's r often hard 2 please people. Maybe Kanye needs to explain himself yet again. Gemini's r often misunderstood & come off as being mean & self-centered.

Maybe Prince & Kanye need 2 talk it over a cup of tea.. giggle

I ran across Kanye's and JayZ's video tribute to Otis Redding, and it looked more like it was a tribute to materialism with the images presented in the video..expensive cars, harem of women in the back seat, etc., etc., . After seeing those images, you wonder where's the tribute to Otis...or maybe I missed something.shrug

I don't expect hearing anything else from Prince fans. Prince was made famous because of his ability to make minimalistic music sound great, more so than his more advanced melodic and progressive pieces. He is not famous for classical symphonies. Why get so emotional that you have to compare the ability of doing something technically difficult? Prince is far more technically skilled, with far more diverse background and knowledge in music. It doesn't mean that he will create something that sounds fresh today does it? Well, occacionally he does. And I still love atleast 3 songs on each album. But Kanye is releasing albums that sounds pretty damn good all the way. Still they don't compare to the greatest by Prince.

I'm a much bigger fan of Prince than Kanye. But no matter how incredible Prince is as a performer and musician, he is not the innovator he was back in the 80s. Now he is better at perfecting music technically, and sometimes writing good songs, but not extremely forward thinking. If you've ever taken time listening to Kanye's albums minus his annoying attitude and persona, it's quite some gems on them.
